The JTRC-500 features a 247 kW Weichai WP10 diesel engine and a hydraulic rotary power head delivering 18,000 N·m torque with 0–60 rpm rotational speed. Its 400 kN lifting force and 200 kN feed force support heavy drill-string handling and controlled drilling in deep, large-diameter borehole applications.
The rig is designed for gas-lift reverse circulation drilling, using compressed air to assist the upward movement of drilling fluid and cuttings through the return passage. The specified drill pipes are 140 mm and 168 mm in diameter, with 3 m lengths. Air supply, circulation components, drilling tools and borehole construction equipment should be configured according to project depth, diameter and geological conditions.
